Most buildings at Monastery Immaculate Conception had to be checked for asbestos before any changes could be made; even the asbestos had to be removed in Madonna Hall, before the building was demolished. This file also contains estimates for asbestos analysis for St. Benedict Hall in 1992, Benet Hall in 2016, and Boiler room in 2016.

The Benedictine Hospitality Center was the idea of Sister Barbara Lynn Schmitz, who gathered the money for the Center by personal solicitations for the most part. Seufert Construction was contracted to complete the renovation of the East quadrangle (former guest department). Construction began in 2017 with completion and blessing taking place in the summer of 2018.
