Eberhard Reichmann, Austrian-Born scholar, spent many years in German-American studies in Indiana. Eberhard translated, with his wife Ruth, the monastery's old German documents.

This is a first draft of SOMMERFRUCHTE, written in the late 1800's. Translated by Eberhard Reichmann in 2001-2002, this brief history became a pattern for Sommerfruchte final draft which was written by an unknown member of the community.
