In 2ND STORIES, John Bower, a hoosier photographer explores what's upstairs, on top, and overhead. This copy of the book was sent to Sister Carlita Koch, O.S.B., who hosted the Bowers when they visited the monastery.

Sister Carlita Koch began her studies of the Immaculate Conception Church windows and of the lives of the saints depicted in the church windows in 2005. Father Bede Maler, O.S.B., from St. Meinrad designed the windows which were installed in the 1930's.

AIM is an organization serving monastic missionaries throughout the world. Sister Carlita Koch initiated the monastery's interest in AIM in 1976 (remembrance in file). Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand is a member of AIM.. This file contains AIM publications and other information about and from the organization. The AIM publications retained in archives contains notes, photos, activities involving Ferdinand Benedictine sisters.

Sister Carlita Koch, O.S.B., was prioress during the time of these negotiations.

Sister Carlita Koch was prioress at the time that the first easement was granted. Sister Kristine Ann Harpenau was prioress at the time the second easement was granted. Sister Anita Louise Lowe was prioress at the time the third easement was granted.

Photographs of the stain glass windows in the Monastery Chapel. Sister Carlita Koch had many photographs taken for her booklet on the Saints in the Windows of the Monastery Chapel. These are part of her efforts to identify and record the saints.
