Sans titreBenedictine sisters (from Indianapolis, according to the book) staffed the parochial school in Putnam County until 1955. (See page 73).
When the Benedictines began in the school is unknown, nor is there any record of which sisters were there. The book contains one photo of a first communion class with Sister Victoria(?) and Sister Mary Bernard (Knust?), the third sister is unidentified. After 1955, the school was staffed by Providence sisters.
This letter was probably sent to the monastery's chaplain,"addressed Reverend Father." The letter gives the sisters permission to have exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on First Fridays.
