This study guide was prepared by the Interfederation/Congregation Committee on Monastic Profession as a resource book for the use of all monasteries of Benedictine women in the North American Federations and the Congregations.

HELPFUL HINTS was produced by novices who would be welcoming postulants to the monastery.

The T-4 program, Timeless Tradition-Technological Times, was a joint project between the American Conference of Benedictine Prioresses, the Federations of St. Gertrude, St. Benedict, and St. Scholastica, the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration and the Missionary Benedictines. The purpose was to provide access to Benedictine scholars for all newer members of Benedictine monasteries, as well as providing discussion platforms through technology.

The Funshine Program was in its third summer in the summer of 1975.

Sister Joella Kidwell submitted Admission Board records to the archives on March 4, 1999. Most of these were from 1992 through 1999.

This book was written as a guide for novices. The author was probably Henry Brenner, O.S.B.

Sister Mary Roman Dall, who entered the monastery in 1950, had this document among her keepsakes.
