Benedictine sisters (from Indianapolis, according to the book) staffed the parochial school in Putnam County until 1955. (See page 73).
When the Benedictines began in the school is unknown, nor is there any record of which sisters were there. The book contains one photo of a first communion class with Sister Victoria(?) and Sister Mary Bernard (Knust?), the third sister is unidentified. After 1955, the school was staffed by Providence sisters.

One of the newspaper clippings indicates that Sr. Mary Matthew Baehl taught at St. Anthony of Padua School in Clarksville, as language arts teacher for at least the 1978-79 school year. The photo of the fire at the convent is from 1952, there is no connecting information to the fire, convent, and Ferdinand Benedictines.
