    Note

    Through the efforts of Alexandra Leich of Evansville, Archduke Markus Lothringen-Hapsburg visited Fedinand and the monastery on June 21, 2003. Besides materials pertaining to the Archduke, information concerning the contribution of an original painting of Ferdinand I is in this file. Ms. Inge Masser of Chicago donated the painting to the sisters. The portrait of Ferdinand I, currently on loan to the Dubois County Museum, is unsigned but attributed to artist Leopold Kupelwieser.
