    Bishop Martin Marty invited sisters from Melchtal, Switzerland, to work in the Dakota Territory in 1888. This is an outline history of the Sisters of St. Benedict of Rapid City, South Dakota. ST. MARTINS OF THE BLACK HILLS 1963 is a booklet commemorating the dedication and diamond jubilee of St. Martin's Convent and Academy on May 8th, 1963.
