Sister Ildephonse Retzer (Caroline Retzer) received this statue Ms. Weigl, a neighbor, to bring with her when she came to America to enter the convent on April 28, 1923. Seventy-five years later, Sister returned to Germany and renewed her vows in the church at Schwandorf, her home parish. Received in archives April, 1998
