See pg. 46 for first mention of Benedictines from Ferdinand. 2011-02-15. This is a study in Indiana Catholic and civil history compiled and edited by Father C. F. Walsh. The text was written by Thomas P. Conry, S.J., West Baden College as a Loyola University thesis for a masters of art degree.
