Sister Placida Castrop, O.S.B., wrote in the rubrics in this ceremonial which was used possibly in the late 1920's.

According to the date in the guest copies printed by the Abbey Press, these ceremonials were used in the late 1940's and 1950's.

These ceremonials, using the word "promises" instead of "temporary vows" or "triennial vows," were probably used in the 1970's.

This copy indicates that this ceremony was originally held during Mass and then moved to the Liturgy of the Hours. The copy of Entrance into Postulancy in 2022 show the difference between not and then.

Ground breaking for Benet Hall took place on July 21, 1963. Built for sisters in formation, it was dedicated August 16, 1964. The 1963 Albert A. Krampe annual log records bits of the history of the building in 1963.

A pencil notation indicates that these instructions and procedures date to the early 1900's, certainlhy before the monastery became a member of the Congregation of St. Gertrude the Great.

The "Rite of Transfer" refers to a sister's transferring from another monastery to Monastery Immaculate Conception. See "Finding Aids" for names of sisters who have transferred to Ferdinand.
