The Academy began its oblate program in 1946, affiliating with the St. Meinrad Oblates of St. Benedict program.

The Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand, Indiana, initiated their web site, <thedome.org>, in late 1996. The website was remodeled and grew significantly during the period covered in this file. Also, For Heaven's Sake gift shop (now Monastery Gift Shop) expanded its online catalog, ordering and shipping.
