The Funshine Program was in its third summer in the summer of 1975.

The file contains the application by the Solutions in Education and Training, Inc. (SINE) to establish a Public Service Prep Academy (PSCPA) residential school in Benet Hall. This preparatory academy in public service careers would prepare students for enrollment in programs at Ivy Tech or Vincennes University. The plan did not come to fruition.

Sisters Maura Schnur, Francille Heckel, O.S.B., Annelle Libs, Mary Terence Knapp, O.S.B., Sister Mary Joyce Trimble, Sister Juliana Scheessele and others taught in Indiana public schools.

This book, published by the State of Indiana Department of Public Instruction, was used by Sister Gabriel Brenner, O.S.B.

These are yearbooks from St. Ferdinand High School which is now Forest Park High School. Ferdinand Benedictines have served on the staff throughout the school's history with the exception of a few years in the late 1990's.

This ministry history reflects the activities of individual Ferdinand Benedictines. Sisters Jeanette Adler (1987-2000), Agnes Weinzapfel (1976-1984), Mary Cuthbert Seng (1976-1981), and Diane Fischer (1976-1980) were staff members at Pine Ridge Elementary School.

These are agreements (contracts) for the sisters' services at the Cannelton school in 1899 and 1918; also letter between Ferdinand Benedictines and Cannelton Trustee re: fees for student transfers between Cannelton and St. Michael schools (1942). The file also contains a letter from the State of Indiana regarding underpayment of transfer fees to Convent in Ferdinand (1949)

This paper gives some affirming historical insights into the sisters teaching in the public schools of Indiana. An undated list of public schools in which the Ferdiand Benedictines taught is also in this file.
