Note
Focus of the Historic Southern Indiana Project is the lands included in the Northwest Territory and the Indiana Territory. Indiana became a state in 1816. The Historic Southern Indiana Project was founded through the University of Southern Indiana. Our sisters were asked to participate. Sr. Jane Michele McClure was a member of the Marketing Committee. The Indiana Historian Magazine, "Indiana Territory" includes a timeline history of the Indiana Territory, and development of Indiana from territory to statehood. The 1991/92 Directory of HSI Project includes membership of all the committees; Sr. Jane Michele McClure's listing can be found on page 12, as a member of the Marketing Committee.
