The monastery opened For Heaven's Sake, a new gift shop, in October, 1996. This gift shop is located in Benet Hall basement. The procedures of a Gift Shop Focus Group, which functioned as a task force are in this file.

MONASTERY GIFT SHOP (FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE)
A Gift Shop Focus Group to study the possibilty of a Monastery Gift Shop was formed in 1995.
Joe Story provided the design, construction materials, lighting and furniture
for the gift shop.
The file contains information concerning the history of the monastery/
academy/Kordes bookstores, gift stores, etc., and the opening of For Heaven's
Sake in 1996.
Sister Rosa Lee Koch, O.S.B., was the first manager of the gift store, and Sister Mary
Ann Verkamp was the first gift-shop operator.
Sister Charlene Ann Wheeless was mnager of the gift store till 2016
Angela Steftanogale became manager in 2017
