Members of the Administration follow an annual visitation schedule to visit with deaneries (faith communities) and members living alone.

The faith communities were set up to help community-building efforts. The title of faith community was changed to deanery in 1999.

This committee began as the Motherhouse Committee and evolved into the Hospitality Committee.

The Mission Life Committee was a subcommittee of the Governance Commission.

The Small Group Living Experiment introduced living groups, "small groups," and communities, e.g. Benet II East Community (1996-1997).

Several task forces were set up to give direction to the renovation of St. Benedict Hall and relocation after renovation from 1990-1995.
