Some years ago (date unrecorded) the painting "The Visitation" was donated to the Mother of God Parish, Covington, Kentucky. A letter dated August 10, 2020 details a check issued by the Sisters of Saint Benedict, Ferdinand Indiana for repairs of the Johann Schmitt painting. The amount was $2,451.00.
