The first employee on whom the archives has a file was Bernard Krampe (1863-1925) who served as farm superintendent from 1893-1925.

Kordes Hall was built as a St. Benedict College residence hall. It became the Kordes Enrichment Center in 1978 and the Kordes Retreat Center in the early 2000's.

Kordes Hall was utilized as a Retreat Center in 2005 and 2006. It's use has been different throughout the years since the late 1970s.

Kordes Enrichment Center formed an Advisory Council in 1985; the organizational chart shows the monastic chapter of the Sisters of St. Benedict, Inc., as the governing body; the constitution and bylaws and organizational chart for the advisory council indicates they serve solely as a consulting body to the director of the center, who in turn, reports to the Prioress.

The Kordes ministry was begun in 1978. Sister Barbara C. Schmitz is initiating the 25th anniversary celebration.

Most of these outreach programs were offered in Indiana and Kentucky in the late 1980's.

Marty Haugen, a liturgical music composer, performed before a full chapel in late September, 2000. The Marty Haugen concert was followed by a workshop on Saturday, September 16.

The Kordes Retreat Center project was the effort to raise funds for an elevator in Kordes Retreat Center. Ground breaking for Phase One of the Handicap Accessibility Project took place on September 12, 2005.
