Marty Haugen, a liturgical music composer, performed before a full chapel in late September, 2000. The Marty Haugen concert was followed by a workshop on Saturday, September 16.

Kordes Enrichment Center formed an Advisory Council in 1985; the organizational chart shows the monastic chapter of the Sisters of St. Benedict, Inc., as the governing body; the constitution and bylaws and organizational chart for the advisory council indicates they serve solely as a consulting body to the director of the center, who in turn, reports to the Prioress.

This concert was sponsored by Kordes Retreat Center and was held in St. Ferdinand Parish Church.
